Hello XStore Support,
My WooCommerce website zealevince.in is experiencing severe CPU and memory usage whenever XStore Core 5.7.6 is active.
Hostinger reviewed the logs for July 29, 2026, 04:00 UTC to July 30, 2026, 04:00 UTC and found:
CPU remained near 100% for almost the entire 24-hour period
Memory repeatedly reached 5.8–6.1 GB
Peak memory was 6,121 MB
The main heavy request was:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=etheme_ajax_search
Some of these requests took 18–23.5 seconds.
Hostinger confirmed that wp-cron.php and WP-CLI were not the main cause. WooCommerce/Shiprocket REST traffic was present but appeared secondary.
I disabled XStore AJAX/live search to test it, but the CPU spikes continued. Since disabling it did not resolve the issue, I reactivated AJAX search.
When XStore Core is deactivated, resource usage remains normal. When it is active, CPU repeatedly reaches 100%.
Please investigate:
Why etheme_ajax_search requests are taking 18–23 seconds
Whether another XStore Core function is triggering the same AJAX hook
Whether there is a known issue in XStore Core 5.7.6
Whether XStore Core is conflicting with WooCommerce, NitroPack or another plugin
Whether you can provide a fix, patch or debugging method to identify the exact XStore module causing the spikes
