Countdown in the Sales Estimate Delivery plugin

Good morning,

I’m using the “Sales Estimate Delivery” add-on and I have the following question.

I need to know if it’s possible to set a countdown like Amazon does. For example, my deadline for shipping the order is 2 p.m., so if it’s 11:30 a.m., I should say “Arrives tomorrow if you place the order within 2 hours and 30 minutes.”

What I need is to set a countdown.

Is that possible?

Additionally, we recommend referring to the documentation for the relevant add-on or plugin for further guidance.

If you are looking to modify the countdown data displayed on product pages, you may find the etheme_product_countdown() function located in the xstore/framework/woo.php file. You are welcome to copy this function into your child theme and make any necessary customizations there.

I’m using your “Sales Booster” Estimate Delivery option. I’ve attached a photo where you can see where I have it on my product page.

I need to modify it so it includes a countdown. If the order is placed before 12 pm, it should say it will be delivered tomorrow, Friday, and if it’s after 12 pm, it should be delivered on Monday. For example, it should say:

It will arrive tomorrow if you place the order before 3 am.

If I want to modify this feature, how do I copy it to my child theme so I can implement the change there? What file should I create or copy?

Regrettably, the modification you are requesting cannot be implemented via the child theme, as it involves a built-in theme file that cannot be overridden or copied into the child theme.

As an alternative, you may consider creating a custom shortcode manually and displaying it using the same hooks and actions utilized by the Estimated Delivery feature. For your reference, you can review the implementation of this feature in the following file:

xstore/framework/features/woocommerce/estimated-delivery.php
