Copy+Paste layout/design elements from one XStore template into another

Hi, I’m just wondering how I can take some elements from the ‘Bike Version’ template and use them on the ‘Eco Scooter’ template. (For example, certain layout styles from one home page to another) There are many things I like about the different individual templates but I need to be able to borrow certain things across the board. Is this possible? A way to copy/paste design blocks between templates? Please let me know ASAP

Thanks for contacting us.
Separate pages import will be added in one of next theme versions. Right now, we can add some pages on your site manually. Provide us with URL of your site, temporary wp-admin access and links to desired pages. Then you will be able to copy code from Text tab on one page and add it on another page. For example http://prntscr.com/qj7km1 > http://prntscr.com/qj7kuw , http://prntscr.com/qj7l37 – delete and edit elements depends on your needs.

It would actually be more helpful if you wouldn’t mind walking me through the steps to import the pages I want with the wordpress uploader. I’ve already downloaded the ‘XStore_import_files’ from your downloads page and since I am trying to figure out exactly how to lay out my site it would be easier if I could test a bunch of options.

I once saw this explained somewhere on this support site but can’t find it now.

Hello,

You can use pages.xml file from XStore_import_files > folder of the version, to import all pages of a particular demo. Go to Dashboard > Tools > Import > WordPress (Run importer) http://prntscr.com/ql6uve As was mentioned, there is no import of separate pages right now, so you will need to delete duplicates of some pages, like Shop, My Account, Wishlist, after the import.

Ok so I’ve tried to do it myself and grossly overestimated my abilities.

1. Can you please add https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/bike/ ‘home’ to replace my ‘Neon Quicksand Collection’ page (https://mydreamcase.com/neon/) – tried to do this as you can see and it’s just a mess…

2. https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/landing-watch/ ‘home’ to my ‘for creatives’ page (https://mydreamcase.com/creators/)

3. And finally, https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/2/x-phone/ ‘home’ to replace my ‘Signature Marble Collection’ page (https://mydreamcase.com/marble/)

Then I can take the pieces I need and apply them throughout the rest of the site. Hope this will work. Thanks immensely.

We would like to inform you that we made copy/paste feature for the XStore Elementor elements https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/design-elements/ Now it’s easy to get XStore prebuild elements just in 2 clicks if you decide to switch to Elementor version instead of WPBakery.
