Hello, I want to know if there is a way to transfer already made translations with Loco translate from another eshop to new one without any translations yet, but with Loco translate on it. To avoid to make all translations from begining? Thank you very much.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, it is possible to transfer existing translations made with Loco Translate from one website to another. To do this, you will need to copy the translation files (usually with .po and .mo extensions) from the original site to the same location in the new site. These files are typically located in one of the following directories, depending on where the translations were saved:

    – wp-content/languages/themes/
    – wp-content/languages/plugins/
    – wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/languages/
    – wp-content/plugins/your-plugin-name/languages/

After copying the files to the corresponding directory on the new site, you should be able to see and use the translations in Loco Translate without needing to recreate them.

Please ensure that the theme or plugin versions are the same on both sites to avoid any compatibility issues with the translation strings.

If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards,
