How do I configure the contact form box? I tested the box to see if it would send a email to my server and it simply does not do anything. I even set it up in the theme settings. Also, How do I edit the contact form? I want a contact form that displays Name*, Email*, Phone Number, Message.

Hello,

As I see you’re using contact form with Contact Form 7 plugin, so you need edit it in the plugin settings http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0731/h_1469962499_7511758_2c8b023a37.png .
Also as you’re using contact form plugin and not our default form you need contact your hosting provider support to check why mail logs why emails can’t be sent.
Also try to use our form as described here https://8theme.com/demo/docs/classico/#pages (“5.3. Contact Page”).

I switched it back to the theme’s contact us page and it is still not sending a message. It says “error while sending a message!”.

Also, how can I customize the 8theme’s contact fields? It shows Name, Email, Website, and Message but I would like it to say Name*, Email*, Phone*, Subject*, and Message.

I am not using contact form 7. I am using YOUR contact form made by EightTheme. I think there is huge miscommunication. Please take a look at my contact form box

Please take a look at the screen shot. It is NOT from the contact form 7. It is the DEFAULT contact form made by 8theme. I don’t want the default fields on there. I want to get rid of field ‘EMAIL’ and change ‘Name or Surname’ to just NAME and get rid of the code captcha. I hope this time you guys can give me solid advice.

Hello,

You can change it in the classico/framework/shortcodes/contact_form.php file
Also we recommended to make all changes in the Child Theme
