When entering html in the “Category Header” wysiwyg editor on the product category page (using Woocommerce plugin), after saving, the carats and quotes get converted to html character entities. I have verified that it doesn’t happen when the Yoast SEO plugin (3.1.2) is disabled. Since that meta box is added by the theme, I’m hoping that you will have a fix.

Also, that editor doesn’t have the “visual” editor option, only raw text… Is that right?

    Hello,

Yes, there is only text editor.
Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials and show the code you’re using in “Category Header” section.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Can I ask why you need FTP access? I’m not inclined to give that kind of access on behalf of my client…

    Hello,

Your query requires additional customization with 3rd-party plugin, but it’s not included in the scope of our basic support. You may order the customization via this form https://www.8theme.com/customization-services/ .
FTP is needed to make changes in the files.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I don’t need you to customize anything, I just need to know where the conflict is happening and then I can try to fix it on my end. Can you point me in the right direction?

    Hello,

As I see now the text in categories is shown fine with enabled SEO plugin.
    Have you resolved the issue?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Yes, I had to disable the meta box added by the Royal theme and add one back in on my own. I would suggest fixing this in your theme though. We can’t have been the only customers to have had this issue, the Yoast SEO plugin is very common.
