    Hi

I have a question about conditional menu links in the Royal theme for WordPress. Say for example, I have a brand called MyBrand, which has products in different product categories (t-shirts and sweaters for example). How do can I make a menu link that shows me only the products that have the brand MyBrand and that are of the product categorie t-shirts.

I have been looking for some plugins but the ‘brands’ feature that you get with the Royal theme seems pretty unique. I am not sure if these plugins will let me filter products based on the brand name.

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Hello,

You can try to use Custom Link menu item and add a specific link to the products you need to display on this page.

    Hi Eva

Thanks for your response but not quite the answer I am looking for. I have been doing some research and noticed you can use shortcodes to show some different products depending on the code you use.

What I am trying to achieve, and I try to explain in query language is something like SELECT * FROM tblProducts where Productcategorie = ‘t-shirt’ and Product Brand = ‘MyBrand’. The basic taxonomy is just showing me the product category but I want to mix two parameters. I am wondering if this can be done using a shortcode.

I looked up the brand documentation from Woothemes but I am just wondering if you have used this feature of Woothemes in your own theme, which means I could use some of the shortcodes.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

Unfortunately there is no option to combine categories and brands in the shortcode.
    Please take our apologies.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
