Hello,
I’ve received this mail from Envato:

“We are getting in touch to let you know about multiple XSS security vulnerabilities in the Visual Composer WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.7.4 (releases prior to October 2, 2015). This plugin was included in items you’ve purchased.”

and I’ve Royal theme v.2.0, on Royal change-log.txt:

“Latest Version 2.2 – September 16, 2015
ADDED : Compatibility with Visual Composer 4.7”

To install the version of Visual Composer 4.7 (which fixes the vulnerability) must first install the new version 2.2 of the Royal template?

In this case how can I download the 2.2 version?
In my account I can’t find this possibility?

I also would like to know how we can update Visual Composer without a separate Visual Composer License Key.

enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.

Hello @golf,

Sorry for the delay.
I’ve sent the latest theme version 2.3 to your email address.
Please check it.

Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
