    Hello,

I am experiencing a compatibility issue between the XStore theme and the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin (WPSwings), and I would like to know if you can intervene to resolve it directly.

    Context:
I use WooCommerce Subscriptions to offer subscription-based products on my site. Normally, when a user upgrades or downgrades their subscription, the plugin should apply a prorated price, charging only the difference.

However, with the XStore theme, this mechanism does not work correctly:

When a user changes their subscription and proceeds to the cart and checkout page, they are required to pay the full price instead of the prorated amount.
According to WPSwings, XStore’s custom product page might be interfering with this

    Request for Assistance:
I would like to know if you can step in directly to analyze and fix this issue to ensure compatibility between XStore and WooCommerce Subscriptions.

    Could you please :

Identify if XStore applies customizations that prevent WooCommerce Subscriptions from applying the prorated price?

Make the necessary adjustments so that the prorated pricing works correctly when users change subscriptions?

Let me know if an update or fix is planned to address this issue?

I would greatly appreciate your support in resolving this problem, as I want to maintain all the features of the XStore theme while ensuring proper subscription functionality.

Thank you in advance for your help. I remain available for any further information.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

Hello, thank you for your feedback.

It seems that the problem is still present. I asked the plugin developers exactly what the problem was, here’s what they told me to say:

” I am utilizing the WooCommerce hook to add cart item metadata during the “add to cart” process. However, due to the custom template in use, this hook is not being executed. ”

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Sincerely

    Dear @Youcef,

We hope you are doing well.

Could you kindly assist us in reaching out to the developer to clarify which specific hook is needed? This will help us determine whether we can add the missing hooks to the template files for you.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi, i hope you are doing well ?

    Thank you for your resposnse.

I am using the woocommerce_add_cart_item_data hook on the product page to add custom field data when a customer attempts to add a product to the cart. However, this functionality does not seem to work when using your page builder.

Could you please check if your plugin inherits this WooCommerce functionality and let me know if there is a way to ensure compatibility?

    Thank you very much !

    Best regards,
    Youcef

    Dear @Youcef,

Please note that the woocommerce_add_cart_item_data hook falls outside the scope of our support team, as it is highly complex and requires extensive customization.

We highly encourage you to share your suggestion on our (https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/). If your idea receives sufficient support from other customers, our development team will carefully assess the feasibility of incorporating it into a future update.

For any additional customizations beyond the default functionalities, we kindly invite you to submit a request through our (https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel). Please be advised that customization services may incur additional charges.

Understood. However, you must have a custom hook that runs during the ‘Add to Cart’ process. Could you kindly share that?

    Thank you very much

    Hi @Youcef,

Can you please try with the default Add To Cart element: https://prnt.sc/Fbj5g2NpmLL3?
