Name : Clarification Required on Shop Page & Mega Menu Functionality

Message : I have a few queries regarding the theme functionality and would appreciate your guidance on the same. Please find the details below:
    1. Shop Page – Subcategory & description Display
I want that when a user selects a subcategory on the shop page, the selected subcategory name, a short description should be displayed above the product listing.
Kindly let me know the correct steps or settings required to achieve this.
    2. Product Categories Mega Menu Left side
I would like to create a mega menu for product categories, where categories and subcategories are displayed dynamically.
Please confirm the recommended method to set this up properly in the theme.
    3. Shop Page Filters (Subcategories & Brands)
I want to enable filters on the shop page for subcategories, brands, and other attributes, so users can easily refine products.
Please advise the correct configuration or plugin/settings needed for this.
Kindly review the above points and share the proper steps or documentation so we can implement this correctly.

    Hello @Brand Bucket Softtech,

    Thank you for your request.

Since you are using our XStore Archive Products Builder, you can add the “Archive Description” widget (https://prnt.sc/YWN5Uemle5AK). At this time, we have set the archive product description in your archive builder content. On product category pages, this widget will display the content from the “Description” field (https://prnt.sc/qU6Ks6-F-dDW). Currently, a static block (ID 2801) is currently configured to appear the same on each category. If you need specific content for different categories, you can create new static blocks (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/support/static-blocks/) and insert the corresponding shortcode (https://prnt.sc/jt46wsdcl0Uq) in the mentioned product category description area.

On your main shop page, the same shortcode is currently set. If you wish to modify it, please go to “Theme Options → WooCommerce → Shop → Shop Page Layout → Banner Content (Edit Setting)” (https://gyazo.com/98e42387a7e352160bd211e6af7a5449).

If you would like to create different main header menus for different pages, first create the required menus under “Dashboard → Appearance → Menus”. Then, create another header template in “Dashboard → XStore Builders → Header → Go to Builder (Elementor)”. You can import the existing template (https://gyazo.com/fc909aaafe3c401346a86ec82490a280), modify only the navigation menu widget (https://prnt.sc/97mLcuxmSONV) or any other widgets, and then set the display conditions for specific taxonomies or category pages (https://gyazo.com/d28a0e91f5571dc0ff1e0a6c0019f27b).

Regarding the Ajax filters, our built-in functionality for this feature is already enabled (https://gyazo.com/53365eebf1316cffb4284d0b8ace0ed9) and working correctly on your website. If you would like to install custom plugins, please refer to a similar request and response in the following topic: https://www.8theme.com/topic/product-filter-and-product-loop-customization-options/#post-463201.

For additional information, please consult our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore

Lastly, please do not share your private information, such as your purchase code or dashboard access in public messages. This code may be accessed by other customers on the forum. You have a private area for such details, which is visible only to support managers.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
