Child theme tweaks were all erased with 3.0 update of core files.

Hi,
I followed the instructions to update the them to 3.o. I recently had another theme for this site and just bought this one. I’ve made many changes to the Xstore Child theme and found that they were all erased after updating to 3.0. I did this using Filezilla FTP. This never happened with my old theme, so I’m not sure why it happened with yours. My last backup was unfortunately 5 days ago, so I lost a weeks worth of work…
How do I update the theme without losing changes to the Child Theme? Isn’t this the purpose of a child theme?

Hello,

We are sorry to hear that you have loosed all your child theme customization. But the problem is that you probably run our new Setup Wizard and created child theme from scratch. And this override all your old files. You don’t need to run the Wizard in the future to prevent such situation. We will try to fix this issue to prevent all other users from this error also.
