Hello together,

im using a child theme to do my theme adjustments.

I want to change the text on the file sidebar-shop.php in line 16 into something else
‘title’ => ‘Category’,

Therefore i copied the file into my child theme folder and changed it. But the changes will not effect on my page. Can you please assist me that?

You find all the nesessary information for login in the privat section.

Hello Brain,

file sidebar-shop.php // Line 16
‘title’ => ‘Category’,

This is the tile which is shown in the Sidebar. I want to chagne the text.
If I’m doing it on the file of the parent them, the changes appear on the website.

So I tried to copy the orifinal file from the parten theme folder into my child theme folder and did the changes there. The changes will not appear then.

Hello,

You can change the title more easier: add Woocommerce Product Categories widget into Shop Sidebar area in Appearance > Widgets and write your own title.
