Child Theme Issue with Woocommerce - by darylorquia

Good Day,

We just bought the theme and i used the child theme.

During the installation of the woocommerce i encountered something saying – “Your theme (Legenda Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”
I’m not sure what this means, can you check it out for us?

Another thing that i encountered is this – ” The MaxMind GeoIP Database does not exist – Geolocation will not function. You can download and install it manually from http://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/legacy/geolite/ to the path: /home/innov919/public_html/wp-content/uploads/GeoIP.dat ”

Kindly advice.

Hello,

1. You shouldn’t worry about those notices. They won’t affect your site at all. We edited Woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/legenda/woocommerce directory and old version may be written in those files. But, please don’t worry, as the original version is written in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates directory.
So you can hide this message.

2. GeoIP issue is related to Woocommerce settings. You can follow the steps described here:
