  Hi,
  I deleted xstore directories – child and core. Then uploaded the new zip file and extracted the files. I wasn’t asked for registration code thru the process. I wasn’t asked for choosing pre-designed template – (home decor in my case). And now I don’t see xstore-child direcory.
  I’m not quite aware what is exactly a child theme. I have backuped this directory. Should I upload it?

  Hello,

  Please read this article – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ You do not need to touch the child theme, just update the parent theme as described.
