    Ever since I got this theme, I have had multiple issues with checkout and I’m losing money every single day. I don’t know what to do. Also my shop pages look nothing like the demo they look like the default wp- e commerce shop pages and there is no sidebar, which is what I bought this theme for. Please take a look at the website. I have added my wordpress and bluehost login credentials in the private content section. I need help ASAP 911 emergency!

    Hello,

    Have you installed demo content after activating the theme?
    Also you had to install WP e-Commerce plugin before installing the theme.
    We recommend you to create a back up of your files and database and began clear installation of WP and Blanco theme. Please follow the instructions attentively: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/blanco/index.html#!/installation

    Yes I had installed the demo pages. My store has been up for over a year so yes I had wp e commerce installed before installing this theme. I just wanted to upgrade the look of my store so I bought this theme. Even though the store didn’t look correctly everything else had been working fine until the last week. Are you able to log in and check what the issue could be?

    The shop pages of the theme never looked correctly to begin with. And the checkout stopped working about a week ago.

    Please specify what changes have you made after which the shop started to work wrong.
    Sorry but it can’t be just broken. Something was the reason. You might have made some modifications.

    Checkout is fixed. It was a problem with a wp e commerce update that is now resolved. However, the shop pages still have no sidebar and are misaligned. Also do not look anything like the Blanco theme shop pages. Please help me fix this or I have no use for this theme. Thank you.

    Hello,

    I’ve made changes in custom.css file and now your shop page http://www.omgmiamiswimwear.com/store/store/ is working fine.
    Sorry but you didn’t answer our question:
    What changes have you made after which the shop pages started working wrong?
    Have you modified the original theme files?

    The shop pages have never looked right in since I installed the theme. I had opened a topic before about this and it never got resolved. Please take a look at all my category pages, they still have the old wp- ecommerce css.

    Also the featured items in the front page always showed the price as $0.00.

    Hello,

    You need edit categories settings in Products -> Categories -> choose a category -> Catalog View -> Default View. You have “Grid view” selected, but need “Default View”. Please check all your categories.

    Thank you that worked! Wow such a simple solution and I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure it out for 2 months. Now can you please help me with the featured products on the homepage, for some reason it always shows the prices at $0.00. Customers are complaining, it has always done that since the beginning as well. After that I think I am done with issues. Thank you for all your help.

    Hi Eva, I purchased a premium support token to contact wp w comemerce about this issue and this was their reply:

    Hey there,
    Those featured products sections are not “core” features of WPEC. I believe you added them using shortcodes with your theme.
    According to the theme documentation:
    [etheme_featured] insert the featured products slider (only for WooCommerce plugin);

    Hello,

    We’ve fixed the issue with the price. That was a bug in the theme and we’ve made changes in blanco/code/products.php file.

    Thank you so much I saw it worked but today my site is down. It seems that WP eCommerce has been having issues ever since they released the last update and it’s costing me money everyday. If I switch my store to Woo Commerce, will this same theme still work?

    Unfortunately your some pages of your site will be damaged if you switch to Woocommerce plugin.
    Try to contact WP eCommerce support in order to resolve the issue.

    I payed someone to fix the issue for me. Apparently some theme files were not compatible with the new WPEC update, he fixed them but he said I can do no more updates. Hopefully you guys can update the theme to be more compatible with WPEC. I appreciate all your help and responses. You can close this topic. Thank you.
