    Hi!
i have a problem. The chat console is only visible and usable with the role of ADMIN or CHAT OPERATOR.
Is it possible to have it activated and visible also for the role of SHOP MANAGER?
I’ve already tried with the ADMIN MENU MANAGER and the ROLE EDITOR but it doesn’t worked out, and can’t find the solution in the plug in page.
My client is a small business so the shop manager is also the chat operator and the sales department and the cleaning man 🙂 but i don’t want to give him the ADMIN role because i’m afraid he can mess everything up.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Did you try to create new WordPress user with “Operator” role?
You need to create new user with “Chat Operator” role.
If it doesn’t help we recommend you to contact the plugin developer http://screets.com/i/screets-live-chat/

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,
I explained my problem in my previous message.
I can’t ask my client to switch between two accounts (1 for the SHOP MANAGER and the other as a CHAT OPERATOR) because in this business the MANAGER and THE OPERATOR are the same person and he wants to work with the SHOP MANAGER ACCOUNT having the ability to reply in the CHAT too, so I think my request is pretty much logical.
I’ve been already in the LIVE CHAT plug in developer forum and they told to another customer to create a new user with “CHAT OPERATOR” as you told me, but this option can’t solve our problem.
I’m easily asking you to let the chat console visible and usable by the SHOP MANAGER.

    Hello,

Sorry, but this issue isn’t related to our theme, but the plugin developers.
Please contact them directly. Perhaps they will suggest you some other solution.

    Thank you for understanding.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I Asked to the plug in author about this issue. Here the reply:

    “Hello,

Thank you for contacting Screets. You will want to contact theme authors and ask for solving licensing issue. Normally you don’t need additional setup to activate LC.

    Regards,”

So they don’t reply to my request until i don’t have a license code.
How does it work in this case?

    Hello,

Sorry but you need to buy the screets chat license yourself if you need to contact the developers. Please refer to our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/external_plugins
The plugin activation option was added in the plugin only for the customers to get automatic updates and support directly from plugin developers. Only in case you need this features you will need to purchase and register the plugin. This is not only our practice but all the theme authors from ThemeForest.
You may try to write your question in comments of the plugin. Perhaps you’ll find the solution.
Please take our apologies but the problem with roles is related to the plugin developers, not to our theme.

    Thank you for understanding.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
