Hi, I want to change the current contact us page in the template. I need to change the wording “WEBSITE” to “HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US” and have a drop down menu where you can select from social media, print, friend, etc.

Hello,

You need edit the file wp-content/themes/classico/framework/shortcodes/contact_form.php.

Hello,

1. Connect to your site via FTP (ask your host for FTP credentials if you don’t know them).
2. Once you’re connected to a server where your site files are located you need go to the directory wp-content/themes/classico/framework/shortcodes and inside you’ll see the file contact_form.php. This is a template for contact form.
3. Edit the string you need in this file.

Hi we got the 2 additional fields in (HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US? and CONTACT NO) but when we send a test from the contact page on the site. Those 2 fields don’t show on the email. I attached the coding in the private content. Can you please help me.

Hello,

I’ve also edited the file theme-functions.php in the directory public_html/lardiere/wp-content/themes/classico/framework (section “! Send message from contact form “), check the code from line 822 to 860.
Now check your mail message.

By the way we recommend to create child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and copy your modified files in there to prevent losing changes after theme update.
