Good afternoon, we purchased a copy of the Royal Theme but it isn’t working right. I have used this theme before without issues but theme option changes will not update right. I want the header to have the black over lay but it doesn’t update. Other changes I want are also not updating. In addition in the back end when you go to theme options the button in the menu are big and white not like they look in other installations I have used.

I knew this client was going to buy the theme so I installed another copy I bought for another client. I hope this was okey I knew we were buying it the next day and I wanted to get started. We did buy it the next day. Could this be the cause of the error? What can I do to fix this?

I feel like it is not updated properly. I tried deleting and reinstalling both manually and through the interface but it still always says v 0.0.1?

Thank you again for the great theme. Please help!

    Sylvia

    Hello,

You can select main Royal theme in Appearance->Themes. The Royal version 0.0.1 that you mean is a Child theme. I’ve just tried to make some changes, for example layout to boxed and it’s working perfect.

Could you please clarify with more details what exactly you want to change and show us screenshots?

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

Background changed for <body> tag you can see it for boxed version. Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/7i2sm0
Also please disable third-party plugins, some of them caused issue to big white buttons.

Why is the header not changing to have the black overlay?

And do I have to add a slide show to every page to get the background under the menu and header then?

    Hello,

You need add slider to your home page to have transparent header. Go to Pages > edit your home page and select a slider:

Concerning WooCommerce files, you can hide that notice, it doesn’t affect your site work at all.

    Hello,

If you want to have transparent header on every page, then yes, you have to add slider to each page.
