    Hi 8Theme,

If this is not do-able, no worries. Thanks for replying when able!

Question (I have read the How to Translate section of the documentation and this has to do with something else): In the royal > framework > theme-functions.php file I am hoping to translate the “Use this form to find things you need on this site” on line 1200. Normally I can use the Say What? plugin and add the string as well as the domain and the translation takes place – simple. I noticed, however, that the ETHEME_DOMAIN is not in single quotes after the translatable string. Without the ‘ETHEME_DOMAIN’ in single quotes, it does not work, but if the single quotes are there, it does work.

Is it possible to have you guys add the single quotes to the ‘ETHEME_DOMAIN’ areas of that file (for the future updates of the theme)? Is it supposed to be “translatable” even without the single quotes?

The Say What? plugin is so handy that it’s probably not worth the trouble of going through the .po files according to the How to Translate section of the documentation.

Again, Say What? works great on all translations except for any string where the ETHEME_DOMAIN is not in single quotes. If, however, I manually add the single quotes, thus making

'Use this form to find things you need on this site', ETHEME_DOMAIN

    into

'Use this form to find things you need on this site', 'ETHEME_DOMAIN'

then the translation via Say What? plugin works.

Thanks for writing when able 8Theme! 🙂
