    Dear Sir,

    Good day to you!

    On my website, whenever I select (drag) any text, the background color of the selected text appears gray by default.

    I would like to change this selection highlight color to blue across the entire website to better match my branding.

    Could you please guide me on how to implement this customization?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We appreciate you providing the video reference. To change the background color of selected text across your website, you can add the following custom CSS code:

    ::selection {
    background-color: #0000FF; /* Replace with your preferred shade of blue */
    color: #FFFFFF; /* Optional: sets the text color when selected */
    }

    Once added, publish the changes and refresh your website to see the updated selection color.

    Should you need further assistance or have any additional questions, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
