Change "choose an option" - by DeVereor

    likely a daft question, but.. on single product page, how can i change the default options dropdown box text from “choose an option”. as this doesnt fit in the box on mobile, so id prefer it simply said “select”.

    thanks, although I’m already plugin heavy, so what do i need add to the code I’ve already bodged to make it also do the “Choose an option” string?

    Hello,

    This text relates to woocommerce plugin, so you can use Loco Translate plugin and change that text using translation files – http://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation if you do not plan to translate or change anything else, you can delete Loco Translate plugin after this. Or you can change the text via editing php files, in this case, I would recommend you to contact woocommerce support and do changes via the child theme.
