    Hi there,

I’m having an issue regarding the “Centre Image Fixed” product page layout.

    Screenshot:
    https://ibb.co/iaugZd
    Problem:
When the product page is first-time loaded, (With the mouse scrolling down), the right sidebar displayed in the middle of the page, rather than keeping at the top. (This displaying issue only appears when each product page is first-time visited.)
    Browser:
    Chrome latest version

Could you please kindly have a check and let me know how to fix it? Or is it just an issue on my side (on my PC)?

    Thanks very much
    Regards
    Graham

Thanks very much, the right side is working great now.

However, there is an issue with the “Image scrolling effect”

    Screenshot:
    https://ibb.co/n54Zpd

    Problem:
On first time visit of the product, with the mouse scrolling down, the images are stopped scrolling to the top at a point. (A few images are left to be un-scrollable which appears to be out of the range of the two sides.)

Can you please have a check?
    Best Regards

    Hello,

Looks like it is the effect of slow internet connection that affected work of scripts on products that have a lot of images. Provide us with FTP access we will try to fix it. Likely etheme.js file should be edited in parent theme.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, we can’t connect.
    Please edit etheme.js file (xstore/js folder) > change this https://prnt.sc/jwmitt to https://prnt.sc/jwmhwe
    setTimeout(function(){ … }, 300);
(300 number is time for delay – you can try to increase in case this is a bit of time for good loading)
Then copy content of etheme.js and minify it https://jscompress.com/ > replace content of etheme.min.js file.
Clear cache and check if your problem is solved.

    Regards

Sorry to bother again, but when I was trying to minify the etheme.js via https://jscompress.com/, it says:
    ——————————————————————————
File etheme.js: In strict mode code, functions can only be declared at top level or immediately within another function. (line: 2936, col: 16)
    ——————————————————————————
(Even with the original unmodified etheme.js file.)

I have updated the FTP login credentials and the permission level to 777 for these js files, could you please have a check again?
(The FTP login credentials are attached here below in the private content.)

    Kind Regards
    Graham

Please try another minifier, for example, https://www.minifier.org/ or http://javascriptcompressor.com/

    Hi, again

I have tried to change the code:
    ———————————–
    setTimeout(function(){ … }, 300);
    ———————————–
And adjusted the number”300″ from “100” to “600”; However, there still seems to have loading issue for the images.

Could you please have a check again?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello,

js files do not work from the child theme. Please send us with your etheme.js and etheme.min.js files from js folder of the parent theme – https://www.8theme.com/contact-us/ We will do required changes there and you will be able to replace these files.

    Hello,

We’ve sent archive with files to your registration email. Please rename both files in your theme folder and upload new. Then clear cache and check site. If all will be fine, you will be able to delete renamed files.

    Hello,

Scripts need time to get the height of images block and to set proportions from top and bottom for scrolling block. You can enable site preloader – https://prnt.sc/k2dpih or use another layout for single product. There is no another solution, unfortunately.

    Regards
