Category ordering issue – cannot set custom order (WooCommerce / XStore)

Hello,

I have created product categories on my website (seababe.eu), but they are currently being displayed in alphabetical order.

I would like to manually control the order in which the categories are listed (custom order), instead of alphabetical sorting.

I have already tried reordering them from Products → Categories, but the changes are not reflected on the frontend.

It seems that the categories are still being forced to display by name (A–Z), possibly due to theme (XStore) or Elementor widget settings.

Could you please help me understand:

How to enable custom (manual) category ordering?
Where exactly I should change the “Order by” setting so it uses menu order instead of name?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To display your product categories in a custom order, please make sure that you have set the desired order in Products → Categories by dragging and dropping them as needed. After that, check the settings of the element or widget that displays the categories on your page.

If you are using an Elementor widget please open the widget settings and verify that the sorting option is also set to Menu order

Should the issue persist after these steps, please provide us with temporary admin access to your site in a private message so we can check the configuration directly and assist you further.

Could you please let us know where exactly these categories are displayed, or provide a screenshot? We are not sure which specific section of the website you would like to change the order of the categories.
