Category into Kategorie? - by Supermark - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi there,

we would like to change “Category” into the German word Kategorie, how do we do that?

Also we would like to have the actual Category items in our left sidebar in a certain list order (and not alphabetically as it is right now). How is that done? Thank you so much for your help.

Hello,

You can translate “Category” text in Appearance > Widgets, add Woocommerce Product Categories widget into “Shop Sidebar” area and write your title.
Also you can select order type in Woocommerce Product Categories widget and change order in Products > Categories.

Thank you so much! Can I also hide the “category” headline altogether? So I would only see bags, shoes, shirts instead of Category Bags, Category Shoes, Category Shirts, etc.?

Please see the link in privat content. When you scroll down on the Main Page you see the Categories. In one frame e.g. you see three lines: Category, Topfkräuter, Einzeln. We’d like to HIDE the line “Category”. “Category” (as a word) should NOT to be displayed. Is that possible?

Please add this code in 8Theme Options > Typography > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS:

    display: none !important;
}
```
