Category Format on Shop Page - by Skye - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi, I added categories into the shop page a few weeks ago and removed the category text from the image I assigned to each category. I believe I moved the test to below the assigned photo – this is how it still looks on my mobile

On my desktop however the text has appeared back over the top of centre of some of the photo and towards the bottom of the others and I don’t seem to be able to change it back to how it was

I updated the theme and xstore core plug in earlier today and wondering if it’s related to that but unclear why the mobile view and desktop would be different.

Can you help me put it back the way it was?

Hi,

Edit settings via Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop elements > Categories.
Clear cache before checking the result.

Hi Rose,

I had already tried the options that you referred to. I can not remove the text from being over the top of my category pictures and I’ll be honest it looks pretty bad. Previous to this the text was below the photo which was fine.

Strangely on the subcategory page there is a mix – on the top line the text is over the photo, on the second line the test is below the photo! See pic below.
