Hi,

I am halfway through setting a site up with this theme and its looking good so far. I was wondering if it is at all possible, within the shop page, to replace the static banner graphic (at the top of each shop page/category) with a layer slider I will create for each category and add a text section underneath it to have content explaining what products are within said category.

I would presume this would be possible but I am not certain how to achieve this level of customisation within this theme so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

To accomplish this you should to go to Products -> Categories, edit required category and specify category description as you desire (put there Layer slider shortcode or something else).

Hi Jack,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I have tried entering both text and the layer-slider short code within the category description section and neither show on the corresponding pages.

Yes there you can upload static images, is it possible to display an animated banner in this area instead?
