    I see that the spacing vertically is set by the title is there a way to make it fixed as it makes products and categories look very untidy

    it is probably looks that you are using different size of images kindly make sure use same size of image for all category then check your website.

    Well if this is the case please look at this page which uses exactly the same image on each one.
