Cart Showing Incorrect number of items - by DebbieC

I have a problem with the cart button showing an incorrect number of items in the cart. If I put one item in, it shows 0, two items shows only 1 and then however many items you add, only 1 item shows in cart. Mini-cart dropdown only shows 1 item in it as well. I have just updated theme, wordpress & woocommerce but it was also happening before update. This will be very confusing for customers and they cannot see all items in their cart without actually clicking through to the cart itself. Can you please help with this, thanks. Debbie

Hello,

Provide us with auth login/pass http://prntscr.com/ruo52p + WP Dashboard access + FTP access to your site to check the problem.
Do you use any third-party plugins? Did you try to disable them?
Do you use cache plugin or server cache or CDN? Did you try to disable them?

Hi, I attach login details to the staging site.

I have someone working on the site who tried to get this to work and i think he tried to disable plugins but I do not know if I am using cache.

I hope you can find a solution because the cart issue is an important part of the customer experience. Thanks, Debbie

Hello,

It seems that problem caused by the WooCommerce Currency Switcher plugin probably in combination with WPRocket cache plugin. I have disabled WooCommerce Currency Switcher and don’t see the mentioned issue anymore https://gyazo.com/37e6da8ff3d196c2fa85cb164d323060

Hi Olga,

Thanks, yes the correct number of items now show in the number (e.g. Shopping Cart (3) ), but the dropdown only shows one item at a time. Surely all items should show in the dropdown so customers don’t have to keep going back to the cart to remind themselves what is in there? Is there a setting that needs to be changed to show the cart items in the dropdown?

I do need some form of currency converter as I have international customers. If I cannot use the Currency switcher you have now disabled, do you know of any other similar plugins that work with this theme? Thanks, Debbie

Hello,

Theme Options > Header builder > Cart > Number Of Products In Mini-Cart.
You can try https://wordpress.org/plugins/currency-switcher-woocommerce/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-multi-currency/ or similar.
