Hi I went to set a new site live this evening that was developed using the Royale theme. During the process the site crashed and I lost most of the files. Bluehost said this was down to the theme and advised to me to delete everything and start from scratch wordpress installation included. So this is what I did. I have installed in a new wordpress site to the directory and tried to upload Royale theme with no luck. It wouldn’t work via the wordpress installer, then I did it FTP and while the theme is showing up on the dashboard under themes, when I got to activate it, I am left with a blank screen and can’t go any further. There are no plugin installed and no matter what I do I can’t get it to work. Can you advise please?

Hello,
You’re using old PHP version (5.2.17). Please contact your hosting provider and ask to increase version to at least 5.3 then check issue.
Thank you.

Thank you. I did this with the host and they updated. I was able to install theme and plugins no problem after it. I had a problem with demo content. As soon as I went to personalise the site by adding a logo, I got the white screen of death. I have used this theme a lot in the past but find it very glitchy of late and the slightest change causes a crash or white screen. What could be the issue this time? The only plugins installed are those associated with the theme and nothing has been changed yet.
Thanks
