Can't set Brand via API - by Whoszecki

Hello,
I need help to set 8theme Brands via Woocommerce API, I tired Perfect Brand plugin which can be used via API but the problem is that it doesn’t work combined with other 8theme filters so I don’t want to have mess on website. Can you provide solution for that ?

Do you want to manage brands (create, remove, edit) using API or you want to get products by brands using API? Could you, please, explain in more detail all the actions you want to do with brands using API?

Hello,
I want to (Create, remove, edit) using API.
For instance, I want to be able to add brand value(string) while adding product in woocomerce via API. I’m syncing product automatically from warehouse software and I all that I need is to be able somehow to create, remove or edit brands, so if some update will be trigered on warehouse side I’ll be able to make modification acourding to product.
So, for instance, if someone will create a new brand in warehouse or get new product (and new product will be new brand as well) so I’ll get all the data, with size, colour, branch and etc and I need to get also brand, so I will be able to make update or create whole product with all atributes.
At this stage, I can’t get only Brand value so please, could you modify your code to be able to reach Brand via RestAPI with atributes (create, remove, edit/update).

I’m using Woocomerce RestAPI v3.

Hello,

We got your idea and we need time to implement this. At this moment we are working on a big update to add the sill support of the Elementor and additional XStore elements for the Elementor. Once we finish we’ll be able to start the development process of the API for our brands, variation swatches, variation gallery images etc. We hope it will be soon but can’t tell you the exact schedule because it depends on the first stage.

Hello,

Thank you. There will be more work on Elementor improvements but the main step was passed. According to our schedule, developers will start work on API this weekend. So, only next week I’ll be able to tell you what is the situation with brands and if we are able to make them available via API. Sorry for this delay but we can’t speed up the process, we are working remotely because of the situation in the world.

Hello,

Our developers stacked with a few critical theme issues and can’t move on with developing the brands API before fix of these issues. We are ready to give you refund because we can’t speed up the process, we are not a very big company and we don’t have tens of developers to work with different directions of the theme developments. So, our resources are limited a little bit at this time. We do our best but unfortunately. We will create API but can’t tell you when.

Hi Olga,
I didn’t ask for refund, and I totally understand everything that you say. But I just hope that you can understand me as well. I can’t run the shop without brands, and I have more than 2000 products, I’ll need at least two weeks to assign brands manually. Please, try to speed up somehow this process, that’s all that I ask.

Hi Olga,
I decided to go manually with brands until API will be ready, but I’m facing few more problems.
When I click on the brand which is located on the product page it shows 404 page not found.
Also, when I type brand in search panel it doesn’t pop-up.
