Can't install theme - by VivaDigital

Hi

I am having trouble installing your theme. When I try to upload the ZIP I get a ‘WordPress failure notice’ repeatedly.

So I tried uploading via FTP, the theme appears in the list but when I activate the theme, I get the white screen of death. Any ideas?

Hello VivaDigital,
right now you have not Royal theme installed.

Please install it and provide us with FTP credentials. We will check this problem as soon as possible.

I don’t have the theme install no. I have tried many many times and it keeps failing. FTP credentials in private box.

Hi,

Is this message for me?

I have tried countless times to install via FTP. None have worked. When I upload via FTP and ‘Activate’ the theme, I get a white screen and none of the admin will work.

Hello @VivaDigital,

I’ve installed the theme but there is an error on the site:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION”
It means you use low php version.
Please contact your host and ask them to increase php version at least to 5.3.

Hello @VivaDigital,

You’re using old PHP version (PHP Version 5.2.17).
Ask your host to update PHP version to 5.3 or or higher.
Also you need to increase the values of upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

This can not be the case. I have installed this theme on this server many times before – the PHP version has not changed.

Please advise.

To use Royal, you must be running WordPress 3.9 or higher and PHP 5.3 or higher. This is written in our documentation.
