Can't Import Pages - by LukeWoosley

When I go to Pages > Add New > Import I see the popup that should allow me to paste the URL of the demo page I wish to add, but it seems like it never finishes loading. See the screenshot below… Eventually I just have to click to go back to the dashboard from one of the working links in the uppermost header.

Please help….

Please send:

– FTP info (server, username, password, port)
– Admin info (wp-admin URL, username, password)

My Server is GoDaddy. I have to give you my GoDaddy username and password to get support with this issue?

Hello,

1) If you don’t know what the FTP is then you need to contact your hosting provider and ask to give you FTP host, FTP username and FTP pass. Hosting support knows.

2) Admin info means access to your WordPress Dashboard to login to WP Backend and check the page import.

WP Dashboard access is incorrect http://prntscr.com/redti5 And FTP too http://prntscr.com/redtzs

Please, check the credential by yourself and only after that reply back with the correct one.

I don’t know but troubleshooting shouldn’t be this difficult. Maybe I am just in over my head, but the 8th Theme support system seems poor across the board. The support articles are disjointed and vague, the video tutorials are nearly useless, and the forums are cumbersome. There’s not even a Get Started Guide. Could you not just provide the most likely causes for this problem without having to log into my account?

Sorry for that inconvenience. I tried several times but both credentials are incorrect. Please contact hosting provider for FTP credentials.
