    Hi there,

I have “Enable top bar” set to No, but there is still a horizontal bar under the admin bar with a Search and a ‘How are you user’ button with edit account, etc. in it.

The site will only be for ecommerce. How can I remove that?

    Thanks!

    Richard

    Hello,

Are you talking about this top bar http://prntscr.com/cqk9gx ? This is default WP admin top bar that is invisible to customers. Try to logout or login as customer, not admin and you’ll see.

    Regards

    Thanks for your reply 🙂

Yes and no…. But I have worked it out. What seems to happen is that some of the admin top bar ‘moves’ into the main site when the admin bar has to much to show! 🙂

When it does that, the css makes it looks like part of the site template at first glance, because those divs that get pushed down have no background if their own set. This means the site background shows through them:

Easily tricked if you are a WP newbie!

Oh, I see. Ok, I’m glad that you sorted out.
Feel free to ask if you need any other help.

    Regards
