Hi
I am wanting to setup a statick block in a prefooter area (on a different color background to the footer area i.e Footer 2 in Theme Options > Footer)
I have followed the instructions in the documentation, specifically –
Then go to Appearance > Widgets, add 8theme – Statick Block widget to Footer1 area and select PreFooter block from drop-down list.
However, I cannot find where I can select PreFooter from the drop down list, as per the image link below.
I can’t seem to find any option for activating the prefooter area.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Regards
Simon
Hello,
You need to create the PreFooter block manually in Dashboard->Static Blocks then select it in dropdown list.

Hi Robert
Thanks for your quick reply.
I thought it wasn’t working because I had selected Footer 2 in Theme Options > Footer, and the PreFooter was still displaying on the dark footer background.
It appears the images for Footer 2 & Footer 3 in Theme Options > Footer are incorrectly swapped around, as it now works properly when I selected Footer 3
