Can't edit with Visual Composer - by Christophe

    Hello,

    I can’t editing at the frontend a page with Visual Composer.
    Edit a page with VC in the backend works well.

    What i see when i trying edit a page is a blank screen width the preloader icon.

    Can you help me, so i can edit at the frontend please?

    Hi,

    It shows some js error in the front-end, it seems some plugin compatibility cause this issue. Can you try deactivate the recent plugin you active after that this issue happened? or try download the latest version of VC from here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/ and try to reinstall it.

    Also try disable all plugin at once except VC, theme recommended plugin, refresh the cache and see the frontend works, if so, activate the plugin one by one to find the problematic plugin.

    Hi,

    I found the issue.
    The problem is in the REDUX FRAMEWORK (3.6.5) plugin.
    When deactivate the plugin, i can edit VC at the frontend.
    This is a core plugin used for Xstore?

    Hello,

    After testing the webshop, and order and pay a test-product there is also a blank pgae with the preloader. So the confirmation page doesn’t load when the REDUX FRAMEWORK plugin is enabled!
    When disabled and reloading the confirmation page then all works good.

    But this is a BIG issue!
    Hope you can help me solve this issue with the REDUX FRAMEWORK plugin?

    PS: tested all the plugins but only REDUX has this issue!

    UPDATE: I reinstall XSTORE without luck 🙁

    Hi,

    I tried to deactivate the plugins ( please enable them back ) and found out that it is some compatibility issue between the latest VC plugin. I forward this issue to the developers, until then please use the backend editor to edit the content.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the fast support.
    Okay, i restore a backup, so thats faster and comfortable, instead enable all the plugins and some settings 😉

    I hope the VC developers can find a solution fast.
    The deadline for the webshop goes live is 2-3 weeks :-/

    The biggest problem now is the blank page (with preloader) after ordered product(s). (see previous reply in this topic!)

    Haha that is the easiest way to do that 🙂

    Also, can you give us the steps to reproduce this error? “The biggest problem now is the blank page (with preloader) after ordered product(s).” so that we can check what’s going wrong.

    Yes haha!

    I make a test product that you can simulation the issue, that you can find here (see private content)
    Buy this test product. (Be not afraid, it is not a real payment at the moment, the ‘Mollie Payment Service Provider’ plugin for paying is setting in test-mode.
    So you can make test-orders.
    If you order, the last step, after confirmation the order, you see a blank page with the preloader (again) instead of a page that shows the summary.
    For better understand i made a little video (see private content)

    I try also another payment method, (the WooCommerce standard bank transfer method) as option but it gives the same issue.

    Aiaiai, my poor english 😉

    Hi,

    There are two errors showing,

    1. Google Maps API, did you include Google maps using some other plugin? If so, make sure you put the API key in the settings page of that plugin.

    2. Another is sendr_plugin_assets_url is missing from woocommerce-sendr plugin

    Can you double these two and update us?

    So when i’m disabled the sendr plugin then the last step works well!

    Okay,
    Now i understand. There is VC and Sendr-plugin used Google Maps.
    Trying figured out now.
