Can’t Access Built-in Wishlist Settings – Spinning wheel

    I disabled the YITH Wishlist plug in, and when I try to go to the Built-in Wishlist, I just get a spinning wheel. I would like to try out the new built-in wishlist, but I cant activate it.

    Hello, @Imagine This,

    We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization.

    Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before doing so.

    In addition, please provide your valid/working site WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can investigate further.

    I have deactivated all plugins and reset the cache and am still experiencing the issue. Credentials in the Private area of my first post. Debugging authorized. Thanks.

    We have conducted a debugging of your site and have determined that the issue you are experiencing is due to the Child Theme Customization Code. Upon activating the Parent Theme on your site, the issue was resolved, as evidenced by the screenshot provided here: https://postimg.cc/vcgHrB92

    We suggest that you contact your developer to review the Child Theme customization and make the necessary corrections.

    I uploaded a freshly downloaded child-theme file, and I am still having the issue (no child-theme customizations at all). It loads fine when the main theme is active, but not when the child theme is active.

    But I did get to check out the settings while the child theme was deactivated, and have chosen to stick with the YITH Premium Wishlist. Thanks for your help.

    I know this is marked solved, but just wanted to give you an update. I duplicated my child theme with a new name (while trying to troubleshoot a header issue), and I was able to access the built-in Wishlist admin pane fine. But as I was resetting all the Xstore theme options for my site, something broke my access to built-in Wishlist again. I am also unable to access the Built-in Compare section. So there’s definitely a bug with one of the settings. I am sorry, but I was unable to pinpoint what change I made that triggered it.
