Cache Problem: Checkout Widget not working on all sides

Hi.

We tried a variety of cache plugins (WP Super Cache, Gator Cache, Hyper Cache etc.) and have always the same problem. The Products in the Checkout (Header & Sidebar) update only on the product category pages.

On all other pages such as Home, products, blog or the static pages etc. the checkout is not updated. On these pages the checkout shows always only the cached content rather than the actual content of the users.

Can it be that ajax with this theme only function properly on the category pages? Or is it something else? How do we get this to work on the other side to?

Without cache plugin all works without problems.

Hello,

Please take our apologies for the delay.
Unfortunately we can’t give a guaranty for full compatibility of the theme and 3-rd party plugins.
But yes the issue with cache plugins in blanco theme may be caused by that cart widget works without ajax. We know about that problem and we’ll try to fix it in future updates. Please sorry for the inconveniences.

We lost so much time in search of a functioning cache plugin. It is certainly a problem that many others also have.

(If I am not mistaken, was ajax-checkout earlier explicitly listed in the themeforest theme-description.)

Unfortunately we can’t tell you the exact date of new theme release for now.
You can monitor it on ThemeForest site.
