Buttons not working and whole bottom / footer of home page missing

Hi

My home page and other pages are missing the footer. Some buttons on the home page are now not working and just show the coding rather than a button.

I am missing the bottom half of my home page, including testimonials and instagram feed and featured products from my shop.

Please set footer content in Appearance > Widgets > Footer area

There is a message saying :

Xstore Core plugin requires the following theme: Xstore v5.1 or higher.

Downgrade the plugin to version 1.0.23 to use it with the current theme version. 1.0.23 plugin version you can find this here

However I had issues a few weeks back where I had updated the theme and the Xstore core plugin was not compatible with the version of the theme I used – so someone on here downgraded my theme to version 5.0.3 – the site worked fine for a while but now this has happened

Hello,

Please update the theme to 5.1.1 version https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update then update XStore Core plugin to 1.1.6 https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update
Let us know the result.
If this doesn’t help, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

I have updated the theme but I don’t really understand how to update the plugin, even when looking at the link you shared.

Please could you help me with this?

I will put my FTP details into the private content box.

I have just checked and the website seems to be back to normal – however I am sure this happened last time where I just updated the theme and things went wrong a few days later.

Hello,

I am glad that your problem was solved.
If you need our help, do not forget to provide dashboard access also.
About Core plugin updating, you can simply delete the plugin via dashboard then go to XStore > Install plugins > install the latest version of Core plugin.
To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find here – https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
