    Hi there,

I have just noticed that the quantity selector for items in bundles products is rendering when the bundle is included as one of the options for a component in a composite product. this problem specifically seems to happen when the component selection is via radio buttons, but I have experimented much about all contexts. There is some quantities markup in the HTML, but that seems to be ignored.

I have tested in Storefront, and it works fine there.

could you take a look? I have pasted details in the private box. The links are to a staging sandbox, so please do let me know what I need to reimplement on the production dev site.

    Many thanks,

    R

    Hello,

Could you please also attach a screenshot of the problem for better understanding? We don’t see quantity inputs there.

    Regards

Hi there, sure thing. Added in the private area, complete with unrendered markup showing. That is indeed the problem.

    Thanks,

    R.

    Hi Serg,

In principle it seems almost fixed. The format and style is different to the rest of the xstore quantity selectors though. Could you make it the same as the rest?

Could you also let me know where the fix is so I can reimplement?

And will the fix also be in the next theme update or not needed?

    Thanks

    R

    Hello,

Quantity increment/decrement buttons are implemented only to default WooCommerce inputs. They can’t be added to any custom quantity inputs that come with additional plugins.

The custom fix is located in a custom CSS area. There is no reason to include it in the theme update.

    Hi Serg,

Actually, your quantity buttons actually work beautifully within the Woocommerce Bundles plugin when used by itself on the same site. The problem is that normal prescribed use includes using bundles as composite options. i.e. bundles products can be component options within composite products. That combination of the two official plugins is actually marketed by woo….

It is only in that context of using bundle products in composites that quantiyy selection format breaks.

It looks bad for the user, and even worse that it works elsewhere on the same site when bundles are not composited.

Can you look at this again please?

    Many thanks,

    R.

    Hello,

We understand, but as was already mentioned quantity increment/decrement buttons are implemented only to default WooCommerce inputs. They can’t be added to any custom quantity inputs that come with additional plugins. Even if they are official WooCommerce addons it may require additional code customization to add increments button there.

    Hi Serg,

I have highlighted this to Woo. Their quantitiy selectors are available as default inputs, until in the specific context. Will keep you updated!
