Bug – product description not being displayed. Problems with checkout

Hi,

Something is blocking elements like product description – I can see them when I am in theme settings mode but it is not visible on live version of the site.
Not sure if it is related
In Cart/Checkout layout only classic Layout works. When we switch to multistep it doesn’t move to shipping (and as above – it works when in theme options mode)

Hello, Namaste,

In order to troubleshoot problems you are experiencing, we suggest that you first try disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that are not bundled with XStore. You can refer to the following link for a list of included plugins: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins . Additionally, please clear the cache of your browser and check again. It is possible that one or a few of the additional plugins causing problems.

Hi – description issue is W3 Total cache issue (specifically – an issue caused by enabling Minify)

IT is not specific to this website – I had the same problem on my other site.

W# is plugin recommended by XStore – how come there is a conflict that is making sites non-functional?

Side note – issue started after the recent XStore update.

Hello, Namaste,

We checked a few products -> https://prnt.sc/mRzvD6FCVucv and there are no descriptions on frontend and no when customizing options -> https://prnt.sc/yCc8ep-2vRAC

After checking a few products from the editor – there is no excerpt added for them -> https://prnt.sc/4W57qtgjHFWj

But after we added some text (for testing) to the excerpt area it shows on frontend -> https://prnt.sc/XqZFdlG-v53S , so it means that you just don’t have descriptions added to your products which is why those are not shown.

Hi,

You tested short description – I was reporting a bug with main product description.

All of my products have main description.

The one which you tested:
https://decasadecor.pl/product/bidon-termiczny-ze-slomka-065l-grafitowy-stanley/ has it as well as you see.

https://snipboard.io/5YndHV.jpg – Minify disabled – product description visible, product gallery visible

https://snipboard.io/82zIAQ.jpg – Minify enabled – no product description, no additional pictures.

It became visible after I disabled minify option in 3T Cache plugin.

So my question as above is – how is it possible that cache plugin which you recommend and is bundled in with a theme causes conflict?
