Brands option – add a brand in the order confirmation email

Hi,

I am interested in adding to the email sent with the order confirmation to us, where the brand information would appear next to the product ordered.

Is it possible and how to add this to the email? This would make ordering from manufacturers very easy.

Alternatively, another solution could be to add a separate Brands tab where the products ordered that day would appear ranked by manufacturer or brand. This is a valuable option for dropshipping stores.

Hello,

You could try to use WC hook element of Email builder and add some php code from your child-theme/functions.php with add_action for one of them.

Example how add_action works: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_action/

If you want to make it by default you may write a request on our taskboard with provided details and maybe screenshots for better understanding -> https://www.8theme.com/roadmap/.

Keep in mind that all requests are checked by our dev team and users. Team members and clients may leave their comments and talk about advantages and disadvantages of request.

When we will find your request interesting or users will leave voices for that then it will be moved to the next step of implementing in theme/core plugin as a feature.
