Brands from Product Categories instead of Brands Categories – Feature Request

Hi, I am not using the Brands option anymore as I am using a filtering system that would not recognize them anyway, as well as your VC Product Sliders to display products by Brand/designer.. so I set up all my brands as Product Categories instead, which is much more flexible IMO.

But I liked how the logo of each Brand would show up in Single Product view and I also liked the Brands Slider.. I really wish there were options to use Product Categories to display as brands basically for those who prefer approaching things that way.

So this is a feature request really ;0)
