    Hi,

When i open a page in dutch for example https://yourlight.com/bedrijfshalverlichting/
And then push the translation to english, the text gets bold. I dont know why this is happening. WPML says its in the theme and when i use another theme it is not getting bold. So it looks like something is conflicting. Any idea why this is and how i can solve it?

    Hello,

Text has the strong tag http://prntscr.com/pl0lwq
Provide us with Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check the problem in more detail.

    Hello,

The strong tag was used in your text element http://prntscr.com/pl144o I removed it font-weight of the paragraph is normal. If you wrap the text to strong tag you’ll get it bold again. Don’t understand how it’s related to theme, this is default HTML tag.

    Hi,

What u have changed is one column, but if u scrolled down u saw that the rest of the text is also bold without the tag. Even the menu gets bold as the whole website..

    Hello,

I do not see the problem http://prntscr.com/pl1om1 Have you cleared the cache?
Please provide us with screenshots for the problem.
You can use Lightshot screenshot tool https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html to share screenshots, it creates a link to the image and you will just send us that link.

Ok when we have a page in dutch for example https://yourlight.com/havenkraanverlichting/
See scrn shot: https://gyazo.com/eceddeeead4dfb32c86920173cce2b4d what u see is a text which is not bold.. then when u push the translate to english button (see scrn shot GIF) https://gyazo.com/4ad9bc815c7fc375d1db718eccb45e01 the text gets bold. without the strong tag or css.. text gets bold.. (MENU BOLD with english translation) https://gyazo.com/0f1fbc905b0086096e0cb4bc3464b8ff —> (NORMAL MENU in dutch) —>https://gyazo.com/de1ca165d16df8ada51822032fcbc50e …

The problem, everything gets bold when pushing the translation button, in chrome, in IE and in 5 tested other computers with different wifi and IP.

WPML acknowledge and see the problem, and they told me that the problem is in the conflict with the theme and WPML.

    Hello,

Thanks for the explanation. That is strange because when I login your site, there is no problem – https://prnt.sc/plebk2 , but it is here via an incognito window – http://prntscr.com/plebtq
Try to disable caching temporarily on the site and check one more time. Let us know the result.
I will pass this problem to our developers, but they will be available from Monday, due to the weekend. Please do not change access.

    Regards

    Hello,

It was a strange situation. I selected another font-family in Theme Options > Typography and then set it back, and it solved the problem.

    Regards
