Doesn’t matter what column number I set in blog setup, it only ever shows 2 I need to adjust to 3
Hello,
Provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look.
Regards
See in private
As I can see, your Blog page is not selected https://prnt.sc/ue8qt9 https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/blog-page/
Regards
1. What difference would that make? people can still click on categories, and it still shows in 2 columns rather than 3
Does matter if i create a page its still not working, see the page in private
2. Where is the option to change the menu for “My account” it says it’s in the header settings, where there is nothing to set which menu goes in the account section
1. Update the theme and Core plugin, clear cache, and check then.
2. The header builder uses the default WC My account menu. WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Account endpoints.
Regards
1. Both are updated if you had checked
2. Then why give the option in the Theme, I can’t see how I can change these in the My account drop down
Hello,
1. https://prnt.sc/uer0k8 – new versions are available.
We do not have such problem on our test site, please do the next test:
– try to disable all the third-party plugins, that do not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/Plugins/Included_Plugins , and check the post category page then.
Clear all cache before and after disabling plugins.
If the problem is independent of plugins and persists even with the latest version of the theme, provide temporary FTP access.
2) Where do you see this option in the theme? Please provide a screenshot.
Regards
1. Hmm very good timings!! wasn’t there before i replied 🙂
2. Please see here https://nimb.ws/8w9L5J but theres not setting Header Builder
Have you checked plugins? Could you provide FTP access?
There is no possibility to change the Account menu, this option is deprecated and doesn’t work.
Regards
1. Tried disabling the plugins, makes no difference, after further looking it wouldn’t make a difference anyway, you can see the CSS being applied that even though you can set it to 3 or 4 columns, the CSS still forces a 2 column layout, nothing changes
Hello,
We can’t connect:
Status: Connection attempt failed with “ECONNREFUSED – Connection refused by server”.
Error: Could not connect to server
Can you, please, try to connect to your server using Filezilla? Does it work for you?
Please provide access as text, not a screenshot, next time.
Waiting for your reply.
Regards
ah sorry my mistake, we are still on dummy server, please see in private
While your in there, could you review the additional categories menu on mobile, there is an option to allow different drop down options, see here https://nimb.ws/Ihs1e3
It doesn’t do anything, all if it remains open regardless
Hello,
1) The columns issue was related to your custom CSS http://prntscr.com/up9i95
2) I have passed the issue with the mobile categories opening to our developers. I’ll inform you once they fix the issue.
Regards
1. What an idiot!!! so sorry, not sure why that was done
2. Ok, annoyingly about to launch so any quick fix or quick update would be hugely appreciated
Hello,
