Users now have public access to static blocks. This shouldn’t be.
Please see private area for example page: both static block and web page have almost identical URL, so visitors coming back and punching in the location could get redirected to the static block.

Not so much a feature request as it is a request to fix an issue, but since this is new, I decided to post both here and as feature request

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

We don’t have option to hide the static blocks. Anyway, you can change the static block slug to make it different to be sure that you avoid that situation.

    Regards

I found the same issue so I installed a redirection plug-in and then easily redirect all the block pages (and headers / footers) to the homepage or elsewhere.

It’s good for the /product/ -> /product-category/ issue too. If someone tries to update the url on a product page by removing the product slug leaving category – it leads to a 404. So I redirect those properly too. Example

    Change /product/beanies/product-demo1/
    To /product-category/beanies/

    Here’s the free plug-in I use. It’s compatible with the theme – https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
