    Hi There,

We are having trouble customising the footer to a bespoke design. Which is basically a logo, newsletter sign up (mail chimp), and two big buttons that link to social media.

We’ve managed to place the new background image in but our developer said he’s having trouble implimenting the rest as “It doesn’t insert standard code, just a sort of short code which gets interpreted into a sort of Bootstrap HTML”?

Any advice you can give us/him would be great.

    Hello,

Where did you add background image?
I don’t see it in static block “Footer-kids”.
It should be added in static block row settings, please look at the screenshot http://storage8.static.itmages.com/i/16/0507/h_1462606196_1810232_cf1044460e.jpeg .

Have you edited original style.css file?
We don’t recommend to do this because you’ll lost the changes after theme update.
Make all style modifications in Theme Options > Custom CSS.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
