    Hi,

    I am using Legenda v 3.0.3; I am wondering if there is an option with this theme to have a banner across the top of the webpage (site wide). I can provide a picture if required, just can’t see where to upload one here.

    The banner doesn’t have to be revolving, as long as I can let customers know when our shipping will be on hold for stocktake.

    Additionally, I’m assuming the change happened with one of the updates. I’ve noticed that my products now display with their images all really large down the left side of the page and the item description is half way down the page. Is there anyway to revert this back to how it was originally; with the product description at the top next to a smaller sized image that allowed you to hover over to zoom in or click through the available image gallery.

    Thanks
    Emily

    Hello,

    Please provide screenshot, try Lightshot program: http://app.prntscr.com/en/download.html

    You need update theme to latest version https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/installation_upgrade (Theme Upgrade) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k&feature=youtu.be
    Theme version 3.2 is available on ThemeForest (log in with your Envato account credentials and free download the latest version in Downloads section).
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
    You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
    Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi Rose,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Here is the screenshot, http://prntscr.com/f8dejz. Hopefully that works. The screenshot is taken from http://www.gwgclothing.com if it doesn’t.

    I’ll work on getting that update done now.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.
    You can add image background for top-bar:

    .header-type-5 .top-bar {
        background-image: url(https://image.prntscr.com/image/2d31bdc85a4748a68320a3008be7e08d.png);
        background-attachment: inherit;
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        background-position: center center;
    }

    – add this code in custom.css
    How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qok2zRedRMY.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Thanks, so this will just let me add an image to the top bar and I can have my message to my customer in the image? Will this be site wide or only on the homepage?

    Additionally, I have tired exporting my database through the Tools section. When I try to download the export file for all contact the XML file that downloads is blank. However if I select each section individually the XML files download as normal. Is it ok to download all the sections individually as opposed to all together if I have problems with the upgrade and need to import again?

    Hello,

    You can use this code to put the image into top-bar for all site pages. Also, you can add some contents in Top bar area (Appearance > Widgets).

    We are able to help only if some problems appear only with our theme. Tools section is a default WordPress element, so you need to check the blank page problem with default theme – Storefront.

    Before update you need to make full backup of your site files and database and also export theme settings in Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > Export Options to be able to restore your site to previous state if something goes wrong.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Is there any way that I can replace the search on the left of my header with a widget (MailChimp)? I know I can put it in the top bar but it’s too big and throws the symmetry off.
