    Hi there-

I’ve updated everything to the enth degree on our site and now we’re finding that the links in our banners were deleted upon updating Royal to 6.0.1. Royal Core is 1.1.1

The images remain but no more links exist in the Banner element of VC/WP Bakery.

Please give me a fix as I don’t relish adding all those links back, of which there are numerous.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Hello,

The update should not remove links from banners.
What version of the theme did you use before the update?
Please describe the problem in more details with screenshots. Also, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look.
You can use Lightshot screenshot tool https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html to share screenshots, it creates a link to the image and you will just send us that link.

    Regards

    Hi and thanks.

After years of the site using an old, old version, I updated to 6.0 in July, then to 6.0.1 just last week. Somewhere in between the links were lost.

We are also having continued issues with the Canada Post plugin for WooCommerce, but I don’t think that’s related.

Please tell me what you think.
    cheers,
    Mari

    Hello,

Before update the link field was a simple input without options, after the update we have improved the option to allow users open link in a new tab etc http://prntscr.com/p0nu24 but you need to re-add links using this updated link button.

    Hi-

So what your saying is your new update stripped out the links on these banners and that I now have to re-add them one by one?

I’ve counted 26 of them. That should take me about 3 hours since I didn’t build the site.

If I reverted back to the previous version would that bring back the links?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Actually, links were not removed from the code but they need some attribute now http://prntscr.com/p13f5g
We have updated all the links for the home page. Do you have banners on other pages?

    Regards

Oh, thank you! I tried to recreate the code you showed in the image but it didn’t work for me.

We do have more links on the attached pages. If you could fix them, that would be awesome!

    Thanks!
