    Hi there,

    I’m getting bad gateway error from NginX whenever I try to edit pages. Error does not come when editing posts.

    I can see this error is due to your theme. As when I use 2017 theme there is no error.

    Can you please look into it?

    I’m posting the relevant info in private contents.

    Kind regards,

    Mfaruqi

    Hello,

    This looks like Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder plugin specific issue with PHP version that you use http://prntscr.com/ielcf5, therefore it is harder for us to find the issue and fix it.
    Can you downgrade PHP version to 7.1 because Revolution Slider and Visual Composer does not fully support it and produce errors?

    Regards

    Hi Rose,

    Thank you for your reply. I will do as suggested and will post the result. It is sad that these plugins don’t support PHP 7.2 yet.

    Best regards,

    Mfaruqi

    Hi there,

    As per your suggestion I downgraded php to 7.1 on my development server. Then all I was getting was a blank page instead of site home page. I wasn’t even able to login to admin panel.

    When I checked website logs I found this:

    *****[error] 4672#4672: *1 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in /var/www/html/*******/wp-content/plugins/mpc-massive/shortcodes/mpc_row/mpc_row.php:26
    Stack trace:
    #0 /var/www/html/******/wp-content/plugins/mpc-massive/shortcodes/mpc_row/mpc_row.php(1507): MPC_Row->__construct()

    When I disabled the Massive Addons plugins by renaming the folder my site was live again.

    It means that the basic problem was not with PHP 7.2 it was with Massive Addons plugin. Now when I disabled the plugin in my original server my original issue was resolved and I was able to edit pages using PHP 7.2.

    Can you please give me some ETA when this plugin issue be resolved?

    Best regards,

    Mfaruqi

    Hi there,

    Thank you very much for your prompt response. As per your suggestion I installed php7.1-xml on my development server and all the issues are resolved.

    It all boils down to Massive Add Ons plugin is incompatible with PHP 7.2. All other plugins work fine. It also means I have to downgrade php on my main server as well.

    Is there any fix for Massive Add ons Plugin for PHP 7.2 coming any time soon?

    Thank you again for your prompt resolution of this issue.

    Best regards,

    Mfaruqi

    Hi there,

    As it was a hassle downgrading PHP 7.2 to 7.1 on my production server, I searched on internet for a solution.

    Added the following lines to my website.conf file in the PHP block:
    fastcgi_buffers 16 16k;
    fastcgi_buffer_size 32k;
    restarted the server.

    And the issue was resolved.

    Sincere regards,

    Mfaruqi
