Apple trackpad scroll speed - by st.even

Hello

The apple trackpad scroll speed on the Royal theme is too fast for users. Can this be altered anywhere? Thank you.

The theme’s manual states nothing about trackpad speed options, only navigation anchors etc. I suspect that I need to enter code in the theme functions.php file? I have looked around for this, but have found none.

You can experience the issue in question simply by visiting the home page (one page) of the site with a Apple laptop and use the trackpad. You will see that the one-page home page jumps around extremely quickly. Personally I am not bothered by this, but the client is.

the Home page still scrolls fast, especially the rows in the middle of the one page. Whatever you did, can it be slowed more?

Hello,

Try to disable the option “Smooth Scroll” in “Ultimate” settings in WP Dashboard. Clear browser cache and check the site.

Ok, so I explored a few Ultimate options and I have slowed down the trackpad scroll in Firefox, but not Safari (older version). Is there any other option anywhere … maybe for the functions.php file?

You need to use new browser version.
If you have necessary skills you may try to edit etheme.js file.
